I had never heard of Acuscope or Myoscope therapy until Sheri Betancourt from Against All Odds Animal Therapy and Equine Solutions reached out to me to help my little Leon.

She had heard of his tough beginning and thought she could be of help. Leon was brought into the shelter as a pup and suffered from swimmers syndrome and dislocated elbows.

He had surgery on both elbows and had been in casts for several weeks. Through rehabilitation Leon's back legs had become much stronger but he was experiencing stiffness and muscle soreness from compensating for his elbow issues and recovering from surgery.

Sheri explained to me in detail how the Acuscope and Myopulse could benefit Leon and I was anxious to see if it could help him with his multiple issues.

Although I don't fully understand how the Acuscope and Myoscope work, I am excited by the concept of these non-invasive modalities helping the cells function as they were intended and thus decreasing inflammation and promoting healing as well as decreasing pain levels.

The feedback the Acuscope provides is a very helpful diagnostic tool for locating these areas of concern and treating them as needed.

I have found that Sheri and her husband Mike are not only very caring and compassionate people but are also very educated and passionate about this service they provide.

I do feel that the Acuscope and Myopulse have benefited Leon greatly and have contributed to his overall well being and comfort and am most grateful to Sheri for her expertise and genuine desire to improve his quality of life.

I look forward to our sessions in the future and helping Leon to be the best he can be.

Stella - 4 year old Quarter Horse. Howell, NJ

On April 20th, 2015, I arrived at the barn after work to find that Stella was not acting quite right.

I looked at her more closely and realized that her elbows were swollen, hot, and tender to touch. I immediately called my vet and he instructed me on how to care for “shoe boils”.

In all my years caring for horses, I had never seen a horse with capped elbows caused by their shoes and the way that they lay. I spent everyday (2x per day) at the barn hosing, massaging, and medicating her elbows. She was visibly lame from the trauma and just couldn’t find comfort.

My vet assured me that eventually the elbows would reduce in size and just become a cosmetic blemish, which was a relief because at first they were the size of a small grapefruit. I tried to be as patient as possible, and her comfort level did improve, however the size of the elbows was not significantly reducing. I exhausted all other options within two months, when I remembered Sheri and the therapy that she provides.

I called Sheri and she explained to me about the Acuscope and Myopulse therapies and how they could potentially be beneficial to Stella’s elbows. I was skeptical at first, but decided to move forward with the three initial treatments over the course of two days.

After the first treatments to her elbows, I noticed an extreme difference. Not only was Stella more comfortable, but the elbows had shrunk and were more soft and fluid filled and less hard and scar like than they had been previous to treatment. I monitored her progress over the next 2 weeks and was blown away by the results. Stella was more comfortable throughout her entire body, and was moving better than ever. I scheduled Sheri for a second round of treatments and the results have been nothing short of amazing.

I am finally able to ride Stella again, she will be back to attending horse shows in August, and most importantly, she is happy and healthy once again. I can’t say enough about these treatments. Sheri is kind and patient with the horses while they figure out what her equipment is and get used to the wires and noises. Her demeanor puts even the most high-strung horses at ease, which allows her to get her job done safely. I can’t thank Sheri enough for all of her help and knowledge that she has provided me in the past month.

I will not hesitate to use Sheri in the future!

Alley is a 12 year old Hanoverian Mare that I purchased in May 2015 to eventually show in the amateur owner hunters.

I noticed she was showing some signs of discomfort in her hocks, and stiffness in her shoulders and neck.

A friend of mine was trying a new therapy for her pony, called Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy and convinced me to give it a try as well.

I was surprised to find that Alley absolutely loved the treatments and we have seen a huge change for the better in her hocks.

She is also getting her lead changes! Alley continues to improve with treatments and I would recommend Acuscope/Myopulse therapy for ANY competition horse.

The treatments have helped Alley and I continue to progress in my long term goal of jumping 3'3" to 3' 6".

Just wanted to give a special thank you to Sheri Betancourt from Against All Odds! I, like many, was a skeptic (mainly because financially I have to be and must choose what I do as wisely as possible) but Im also a firm believer in you get out what you put in.

After getting my boy EZ (bought sight unseen from mutual friends out of state), even though he is a wonderful boy and his issues arent extreamly obvious, I knew something wasnt quite right but he was new and we were just getting to know eachother so we were working through it and made big progress as he became stronger, but then winter hit.

We dont have an indoor and until recently I didnt have a trailer so we couldnt do much riding so of course EZ lost a lot of the muscle we worked hard to build (hell....we both did lol) so when the weather finally broke we were back to fighting the same physical battles all over again. It was time to start from ground zero to make sure we got going the right way.

I had met Sheri a while back for something totally unrelated but kept her card and contact. I gave her a call and explained everything that was going on and she offered me her advice so we arranged for her reccomended Chiro to come out then scheduled her acuscope treatments as a followup complimented by suppliments. Needless to say......well beyond thoroughly enjoying his treatments for the obvious reasons....he immediatly seemed like a weight had been lifted from him.

Sheri and her husband came out and were very patient and took their time to make sure both EZ and I were comfortable and understood everything that was going on and told me exactly what i should expect. They did everything they could to make sure the treatments were tailored to our specific needs rather than pushing things on us. Today.....we enjoyed a wonderful stress and resistant free ride which is a huge turn.

We have a ways to go, but Against All Odds will be a permanant part of our workout plan and we cant wait to see the results of our next treatment.
